The main objective of this blog site showcase is to celebrate and affirm the architectural designs created by the Year 2/Grade 8 (2015) students of the School of Science and Technology (SST), Singapore, for their Architectural Design project in their Art, Design, Media and Technology (ADMT) subject area.
These works are just a sample of the students' 1-semestral (from June to Sept 2015) team efforts in the redesign of Pulau Tekong Kechil, an island located off the north-eastern coast of Singapore, whilst leveraging the department's unique Design Thinking Model (shown below).
It is hoped that through the students' exposure to the modified Design Thinking Model and the systemic nature of the architectural design project, students would better appreciate and understand the rigours required, for such a user-centric and systemic project.
So do take some time to explore through their work and enjoy their efforts.
